Advancing Biocatalysis: Protein Engineering and Synthetic Biology for Industrial Impact
Welcome to the 2nd North America–Japan Enzyme Technology Symposium.
Enzyme technology continues to expand its influence from biological systems into practical applications that improve our daily lives. This one-day symposium brings together leading experts from North America and Japan to present recent progress and future directions in enzyme technology and its role in sustainable innovation.
Speakers will present a wide range of research topics, including protein engineering for enhanced enzyme functionality, synthetic biology approaches such as the development of artificial cells, artificial intelligence for enzyme discovery, and more.
In addition to scientific presentations, the symposium will feature a discussion panel focused on biotechnology and sustainability and offer students a platform to share their research during the poster session. This event provides a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, build collaborations, and strengthen scientific connections between Japan and North America in the field of enzyme technology.
